La Valle Parma Ham is distinguished by its delicate, unmistakable flavor: naturally sweet, with a saltiness that is milder than the typical note found in other cured hams. It features a consistent, even marbling.

The color is a deep pink, tending towards red. The leg is recognizable for its high cut, short shank, and carefully trimmed finish. From 16 to 18 months of curing, it reveals an immediate and naturally sweet character.
